Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard & Winery

Family-owned and operated vineyard located in the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.

The rolling hills provide a perfect location for growing quality wine grapes. You are invited to come out for a tasting or a glass, while enjoying the beautiful scenery, and on weekends, enjoy live music entertainment from a great array of Georgia musicians.

Full tours of the vineyard and winery are available every Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 p.m. by reservation – space is limited. Tours are $35 per person.

Start an exciting journey through Blue Ridge, Ga. aboard Freedom Railbikes.

Leave the depot in historic downtown Blue Ridge and begin a 6 mile round-trip adventure by creeks, ponds, vineyards, gorgeous mountain homes and cabins and a covered bridge through tall Georgia pines.

Halfway through your trip, you’ll stop to take in the scenic views and rest before returning to your journey. Keep your eyes and camera ready for wildlife during this incredibly scenic hour and half adventure. Riders should be 4 and up, able to reach the pedals and pedal for an extended time.
