Thank you for providing such a great, beautifully presented location for our stay in MP. Loved the space, the location/view right on High Street was perfect. Had a great weekend visiting shops, Shake Rag Alley and ending the night by a quick walk from Midway Bar back to the apartment!

The small clock is Issac Deller who had a jewelry store in the building beginning in 1892 through about 1915. Mr and Mrs Deller was one of a small number of Jewish families who lived in Mineral Point. He became a very successful merchant and built the beautiful house on the corner of Fountain and Iowa that has regrettably fallen into disrepair. This building was constructed in 1865 for the Bowden Grocery and Dry Goods store. It was a replacement for one of five buildings that burned in a fire in 1860.
