July 13-16 brings the 2nd annual Lutsong Music Festival. The Caribou Highlands great lawn will host artisans, musicians, and music lovers all weekend with two stages, a vendor village, food, drink, and fun. The North Shore Winery main stage will host the headliner act each night.

For the past few months I’ve been working on a project in Minneapolis for a client. It’s a 5 bed, 4 bath mini-mansion on Blaisdell Ave which we’ve named The Blais.
It has the same cozy feeling as The Hygge Suites. But instead of ski hills and lakes, you get all the sights and attractions that Minneapolis has to offer.
My favorite part of the project is probably the speakeasy basement. With plush red velvet, the original brickwork, and dark walls and ceilings. The space provides a fun and cozy atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends.

Situated about an hour north of Giants Ridge, the Vermilion Gorge Trail is located near Crane Lake and offers a scenic hike through a dramatic gorge. The trail follows the Vermilion River and takes you past rapids, waterfalls, and towering cliffs. It's a beautiful and relatively short hike that showcases the rugged beauty of the region.

When at Giants Ridge take some time to explore the nearby towns of Biwabik, Ely, and Hibbing. Biwabik offers charming shops, restaurants, and the Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort. Ely is known for its wilderness gateway status, with opportunities for canoeing, fishing, and visiting the International Wolf Center. Hibbing is the birthplace of musician Bob Dylan, and you can visit his childhood home or explore the Hibbing Historical Society Museum.
