SF107 - Senator Drazkowski's bill to eliminate the shotgun zone for deer hunting will be heard today at 3:00PM in the Senate Environment, Legacy, and Climate Committee.

We support this bill and will be testifying in favor of passage.

Senator John Jasinski has introduced SF76 - Stand Your Ground - in the Minnesota Senate.

This bill removes the court-invented duty to retreat here in Minnesota and completely reforms Minnesota's self-defense laws, including expanding castle doctrine.

Hate to bring this up again, but with the binary trigger ban looming in Minnesota, it is unfortunately necessary.

We don't agree with unconstitutional laws, but until things change, we have a responsibility to protect our staff and our students from legal liabilities. We welcome all types of guns in our classes, but they gotta be legal!
