Fort Peck Montana offers a tranquil getaway for avid fishermen. With comfortable temperatures and a gentle breeze, the conditions were perfect to cast a line and reel in some impressive walleye. Although they proved somewhat evasive, we adapted by targeting lake trout instead. The change in strategy was rewarded with great success, making for an unforgettable fishing adventure. We recommend jigging for lake trout to anyone looking for an exciting challenge.
I would recommend getting a guide for the first day,the knowledge is priceless,Scott Collingsworth at fort Peck Marina is top notch!

4th of July weekend!
One of my favorites as my daughter Athena normally joins me for the weekend at the lake.
Started out ok,but soon figured out the bite and been crushing them!
Nothing like a couple hours on the lake to wear out the young ladies..lol

What a night!

Great week plus of fishing
Had my son and 2 granddaughters up in the beginning of the week.
Started out slow with some unstable weather,but ended with 4 straight evenings of catching our limits of walleye!

Winds se 30 mph with gusts to 45
No problem
4 guys and we got our 20 fish
Gotta think no outside the box in extreme conditions
We went to a flood road and walked out to where there was a cut in the road,we were able to cast downwind along the current break.
They were stacked
Look at the weather, then think of a plan,then execute the plan and sometimes it works out!

All walleye were caught on bobbers today in under 6 feet of water,also released several fish that were to big to keep.
