Here are a few things to love about this gorgeous resort:

• It’s all-inclusive! Food, beverages, adult beverages, everything is included! Even the 24/7 room service
• Every inch of this resort is gorgeous. It’s very modern, trendy, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Adults only (well almost). The resort is age 16+, but While I believe it’s important to have family resorts, I love that you can experience all adults when you choose to leave your family at home.
•The customer service is top notch. Everyone is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to meet your needs.
•The beach is white sand with clear waters and a great swimming area. There was some foliage on the beach which obstructs views a bit, but there are plenty of seats without an obstructed view if you like to stare at the ocean from your beach chair!

The only complaint you’ll have is not staying longer.

Barbados Here we come!

Well, not me, but my clients! I’ve been so fully immersed in their itinerary for the past few days that I feel like it’s my trip too.

I’m sitting this one out but will be living vicariously through them.

My clients are taking a much needed getaway for some R & R after having to cancel last year’s trip due to illness.
There are so many great choices, so it took us a minute to narrow it down but they’ll be staying at Sandals Barbados , which has the perfect mix of relaxed vibe and close to adventure for exploring Barbados.

Like I said, I’ll be over here sipping my coffee every day in North Dakota, living vicariously because this trip will be AWESOME.

You forget your headphones, left the book you planned to pack on the coffee table, and are sitting at your resort paranoid about leaving the hair dryer plugged in.

There’s nothing worse, in my opinion!

Here’s my day before travel checklist that I’ve perfected to make sure I don’t forget anything:

Start prepping a week before: I start setting things aside for my trip, but I hold off on packing until a day or two before, so I remember what’s in my suitcase.

Do a round of editing: Right before I pack, I edit to make sure I’m packing what I’ll actually need. I also check the weather forecast where I’m headed to make sure I’m prepared.

Carry-on check: I double- and triple-check my carry-on for my documents, my AirPods, and my chap stick—basically everything I’ll need on the actual flight (chapped lips on a four-hour flight is the worst!).

Travel admin: I call my credit card company, download airline apps, make sure I have a copy of my boarding pass, etc.

Recognizing that many of you might have the same question, here‘s the lowdown:

New requirements for Americans traveling to Europe postponed until 2025. If you previously traveled to Europe without a visa, you will now need to apply for authorization through the ETIAS, before visiting in 2025.
