the BEACH! ... it's where my mind wanders to frequently this time of year... but the COST! YIKES! You can easily drop $2500 - $3000 for 7 days at a spacious condo near the beach this summer. Then, you're out there with 10,000 of your "closest friends", stacked up, jockeying for that much coveted, unobstructed view of the waves.

My cousin just wasn’t very popular in school. In fact, everybody called him BATTERIES … because he was never included in anything!

He told me he placed a bet on the Kentucky Derby Saturday. The horse finished so late, they had to pay the jockey overtime!

He went for a job interview last week, and the interviewer said, “We’re looking for someone who is responsible.” My cousin said, “Well, I’m your man! At my last job, whenever anything went wrong, they always said I was responsible!”

My cousin’s wife said she had her patience tested today. It came back negative!

My cousin said he remembers the day he asked his high school sweetheart, his best friend, and the most beautiful person in the world to marry him. And all three said “No!”

When my cousin was in school, the teachers would often tell him, “Your procrastination will get you nowhere!” And he’d always say, “Just you wait!”

He said in counseling, he’s learning to understand his wife better … for instance, “I just cleared out some space in the freezer” actually means she’s just polished off another half-gallon of ice cream!

He asked the librarian if the library had any books about paranoia. She whispered, “They’re right behind you!”

>March 5th - Mac and Cheese Festival at Destin Commons where you have be a VIC (Very Important Cheese) while benefitting the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast.
>March 9th - A Taste of Jazz at Ruth's Chris Steak House fundraiser for Emerald Coast Theatre Company.
>March 10th-12th - Emerald Coast Children's Advocacy Center "Gala in the Garden and Golf Weekend". The Gala will be at the Hilton Sandestin on Friday and Sunday Golf at Kelly Plantation's Golf Club.

Hello Beach Dreamers! I hope everyone is getting ready for a season of thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. I pray you will see the blessings of life, even though this life can be full of pain and sorrow at times. To quote one of my favorite poems/hymns:
