Heyoooo!! TWO. MORE. SLEEPS!!! That’s right!! Sea Turtle nesting season begins in the panhandle Wednesday, May 1!!🐢🥳

You may have heard they are already making their way onto our beaches as our neighboring counties have already had some nesting action!! Wooo!

This means we need to make sure we are doing our part by keeping our beaches 🫡

👣 Take all your trash and belongings with you at the end of the day. Leave nothing but your footprints behind.

🚫💡Do not use white lights on the beach and turn off all beachfront lighting. If you are on the beach after dark, be sure to use turtle safe lighting♥️.

🚫🏰 Knock down all sand art and FILL ALL HOLES!!! Holes are dangerous for both sea turtles and humans!!

We are looking forward to a GREAT season knowing we have YOUR 🫵 help and support for our nesting sea turtles and their babies to be successful and safe!! 🫶 It takes a village and we need you!!

South Walton Fire District Beach Safety Season 2024 News:
Lifeguards staff 15 towers across the 26 miles of South Walton’s beaches, which stretch from Inlet Beach to Miramar Beach. These surf rescue professionals respond to emergencies on the beach, as well as within proximity to the beach such as County Highway 30A and Scenic Gulf Drive.

Lifeguard towers are staffed 10am - 6pm each day from now until October 31.

Text SAFETY to 31279 for daily updates about the beach flags and surf conditions.

Blues Masters Tribute Event at Warehouse 360

Blues Masters Tribute Show at Warehouse 360 AUGUST 15 Helping to raise funds for two Fantasic charities. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Foye Belle Foundation. Join us on July 20 for an EPIC BLUES TRIBUTE to Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Gary Moore, Robben Ford, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, BB KING and more. Tickets will be avalable on the Warehouse 360 Event Page or at the door the evening of the cnoncert. 6:30pm - 9:30 pm. Food and drinks will be available for purchase as well.
