This note from little Charlie is just the best! There are several “pillow pet” stuffed animals at the house that my daughter graciously left for other children to enjoy. Looks like they are being put to good use!

As I was walking up the stairs to the front door today, I smelled the most amazing fragrance and had to stand on the deck for about 5 minutes before I figured out what it was 🤣

Redwoods grow so tall that the ground will never see the light of day. The thick layer of mulch is so soft underfoot that it gives the impression that the ground is spring loaded! .

Since opening back up, we have been booking a whole lot of 1 week stays. I think this is fabulous, because it gives guests the opportunity to really explore Humboldt County and also enjoy quality time at the Airbnb.

At what point do you say, “ok, look, we have enough duvet covers.” A different color or pattern can really change a room! We switch the linens for each set of guests, and instead of purchasing duplicates, we are now experimenting with different color schemes 🤩

In the midst of the tall trees. Almost every evening the fog rolls in along the riverbed, leaving everything clean and refreshed in the morning. This is the place to cleanse your body of urban pollutants... there’s nothing better than clean mountain air 🌬🧖🏽‍♀️🧖🏽‍♂️
