Tournament at Notre Dame over the weekend. Rain delays, hot and humid weather and more rain delays. Tournament shortened and number of pool play games changed because of rain. Bandits went 1-2 on the weekend losing to the teams that finished 1st and 2nd

Bandits take 2 from Elkhart at Elkhart Memorial. Game one 13-0 Griffith leads the way with 3 hits while Pontius adds 2. Banks gets the win striking out 9 and walking 2. Game two was a 10-0 win. Gentry gets the win. Banks, Pontius, Mason and Griffith all adding 2 hits each. Bandit defense was strong last night committing no errors.

Bandits softball was back in action last night at Baker facing Penn in a 2 game set. Bandits took game one 6-0. Gentry gets the win on the mound. Banks and Pontius lead the way with 2 hits each while Mason, Connell, Griffith and Addison each added a hit. Bandits drop game two 3-0. Banks lead the way with a triple while Hammond and Griffith each added hits. Bandits are back in action tonight at baker weather permitting

It’s been a busy week for the Bandits Monday’s recap. Bandits lose first game to Fairfield 9-2. Banks lead the way with 2 hits while Hoover and Gentry each added a hit. 2nd ended in tie 4-4 due to darkness. Game 2 was led by Davis and Banks with 2 hits. While Hoover, Pontius, Mason, Connell and Addison added hits

Bandits get 2 wins tonight over a very tough Goshen team. First game 4-2. Banks gets the win giving up 3 hits. Banks also lead the way with 3 hits 2 of those hits being doubles. Mason added 2 hits in the win. Game 2 was a 5-4 win. Gentry gets the win in this game. Pontius leads the way in this game with 2 doubles while Banks adds a hit. Bandits back in action this weekend in Warsaw

Bandits get 2 wins from Bremen tonight at Baker. First game 8-1 Banks fires a 1 hitter. Pontius lead the way with 2 hits while Banks , Hoover, Griffith, Connell, Davis, Addison and Mason each added a hit. 2nd game 13-6. Banks leads the way in game two with 2 hits while Hoover, Pontius, Mason, Gentry, Davis and Hammond each added a hit.

Bandits Softball opens the Seriously softball season with 2 wins Tonight. First game 8-1 lead by Mason with 3 hits scoring twice Banks, Pontius and Griffith each adding a hit. Banks gave up one hit over 4 walks to get the W. Game 2 had a score of 9-2. Mason lead that game with 2 hits while Banks, Pontius, Griffith and Connell each had hits. Gentry picks up what W in this game while giving up one hit walking 3. Bandits will be back in action Friday in Topeka for the start of the tournament season. Good job ladies
