🚴‍♂️🎉 Exciting news! The Mitchell section of the Monon South Trail is opening next Friday, January 24th! Join us at 1 PM to celebrate 2.4 miles of new trail through downtown Mitchell. Let’s hit the trail together! 🌟🌳

Exciting news: The Monon South Trail section just outside downtown Mitchell will open to the public on Friday, January 24, @ 1PM. Come join us at the intersection of the trail and Warren Street (directly next to the intersection of Warren Street and Fifth Street) to commemorate the opening of approximately 2.4 miles of the trail through Mitchell!

🦇 Caves of Spring Mill Hike – 1:00 PM
Meet at the Lakeview Activity Center for a 1-hour guided hike to one of the parks' caves to learn about the significance it played in the 2015 dredging of the lake. Be ready for some off-trail exploration!

This is your chance to show off your unique solo or group talents at the Mitchell Opera House Talent Show for a chance to win a $500 grand prize!

Two preliminary showcases will take place on January 24th and January 31st, where two finalists from both the youth and adult categories will be selected to perform at the finals on February 7th. The registration deadline is in one week, January 10th, at 2:00 PM. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this exciting event! ✨
