2020 Schedule of Events for US/Canadian National Hot Air Balloon Competition and Old West Balloon Fest
Schedule of events for the 2020 Old West Balloon Fest hosting US/Canadian National Hot Air Ballooning Championships August 8-15, 2020
Saturday, August 8 - Grand Opening Ceremonies - US/Canadian Nationals Pilot Meet and Greet, 5:30-7:30- p.m. Location; 10th Street, Gering, NE - Kick off the week of National Hot Air Ballooning competition by welcoming our nationals pilots.
Monday, August 10 through Thursday, August 13 - US/Canadian National Hot Air Balloon Championship competition - Target locations will be announced on KNEB at 6:00 a.m, each morning.
Wednesday, August 12 - WNCC hosts the Student Welcome Back Night Glow - Public Welcome 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Location - Western Nebraska Community College, Scottsbluff, NE. Event pass required to park in the SWBC and WNCC parking lots. Handicap parking available.
