Ever wondered what the difference is between a butte and a mesa? 🤔 Both are stunning landforms here in Moab, but they have a key difference!

A butte is like a mini-mesa. It’s a steep hill with a flat top, but much narrower in comparison. A mesa, on the other hand, has a broader, flatter top, making it more expansive.
