Due to a pump failure, the Outdoor Recreation (Slide) Pool will be closed until further notice. We anticipate it may take several days to source the appropriate parts and make the repair. With it being Jeep Safari week here is some good info to keep in the good graces of the local Police Department.

Jeep Safari is here!

Here are a few reminders for visitors and citizens alike:

• All vehicles operated on the streets of Moab are required to be registered for on-road use and must carry insurance. Violators may be cited and/or impounded.

• Halo headlights are cool, but they're illegal for use on public roads if they're any color other than white. Same is true of rock, auxiliary and whip lights.

• Please be considerate and obey all traffic laws. Officers are doing extra enforcement citywide.

• Please obey our speed limits, they exist to keep us safe.

• We know you want to keep the group together on the way to the trail, but please remember that each and every vehicle needs to come to a complete stop at stop signs including OHV and dirt bikes. (These areas are likely to have pedestrian and bicycle traffic.)

We’re excited for another year of Jeep Safari! Keep those Jeeps rubber side down and have an amazing time in Moab and on our red rock! Have fun everyone and stay safe.

Visiting Arches National Park before November? Here are some tips to visit like a pro:

🎫 Reserve your ticket for visits between 7 am and 4 pm: go.nps.gov/ArchesTicket

💻 Be prepared. Use the website to plan what you want to do: nps.gov/arches.

🧥 Bring layers. Weather can vary greatly in late summer/fall, even within one day.

🤔 Have a backup plan. If a trailhead is full, find an alternative adventure.

💦 Bring and drink plenty of water.

Lots of people are thinking Moab is closed due to flooding.
Moab is OPEN, we are cleaning up the areas affected by the flooding but the backcountry is open, the trails are open and lodging and restaurants are open. There are a few closed for clean-up but they should be opening soon.
