Breakfast held a couple of weeks ago at the Moberly Correctional Center. The event provided an insightful opportunity for members of the community and local business leaders to learn more about the correctional facility and its operations.

Attendees were welcomed by officials from the Moberly Correctional Center, who shared valuable information about the center's mission, programs, and initiatives. They offered a detailed overview of how the facility works to ensure public safety, promote rehabilitation, and prepare individuals for successful reintegration into society.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract visitors, promote local attractions, and enhance the overall tourism experience in the community.

Rothwell Park Boat Dock Ribbon Cutting

We held the boat ramp ribbon cutting for Rothwell Park Lake on Wednesday. ✨This expansion of the previous ramp is a tremendous new addition to Rothwell Park. If you haven't had the ability to view it we highly recommend visiting our wonderful park soon. There is even brand-new ADA parking and a new parking lot on the basketball courts South of the boat ramp. Mabee Hall Ribbon Cutting

🔵Earlier this week we co-hosted a ribbon cutting for Mabee Hall at Central Christian College of the Bible.📚 🔵This state-of-the-art facility, fully funded by generous donors and grants, was renovated at no cost to the college. 🙌 The focus of this renovation was on larger spaces for married couples and rooms for visitors. One week ago we celebrated BomgaarsSupply with a grand opening and ✂️ribbon cutting.✂️ 🔵Items they have available for purchase are automotive🚗 supplies, paint, hardware, tools🚧, farm equipment, clothing, and more. 🔵Bomgaars is new to Moberly, but not new to the industry. The mission of the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote, sustain and grow the long term viability of Randolph County and the surrounding area by:

Support and recognition of members from a broad spectrum of commerce, industry and agriculture

Carrying out public awareness campaigns to promote tourism

Providing opportunities for member to member networking.

The Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce shall promote planning, consensus building and action plans that instill community pride, offer an improved quality of life and seek enhancements that add to the desirability of living in the area.
