Disney cruises are our new favorite family vacation. There are so many activities throughout the day that I am sure there is an activity that every family member will enjoy ! Yesterday we learned how to make an apple strudel with one of the chefs on board. The best part is that we were able to taste test at the end !

“The coolest kid’s club” according to Charlie. Disney has the best age appropriate hang out spots for kids. As a parent, I love that I can check Charlie in at various times throughout our cruise and not worry about childcare - Plus, he has the absolute best time !

Great Day at Legoland ! So many rides for kids under 10.

The lines were manageable and Charlie loved every minute ! This momma is tired ! Such a fun summer break trip 🌞

Cruising according to Charlie….

- Visit the ice cream station that is open all day
- The Mickey pool is a fun place to spend time with your grandmother
- Character meet and greets are great !
- Be sure to solve all 3 detective games on board
- Castaway Cay is tons of fun in the sun. Grab a coconut shaved ice !
- If you have too much fun during the day it is ok to fall asleep at the dinner table 🤣
- Bring extra costumes. Wear whatever makes you feel like a kid !
- Play golf after breakfast, before it gets too hot

Charlie is already asking me to book another cruise ☺️

We had the best time on the Disney Fantasy ! We cruised for 7 days to St.Maarten, Puerto Rico, and Castaway Cay.

Disney recently lifted multiple Covid policies. It was so nice to relax like an adult while Charlie was able to ”just be a kid.”

From a parent’s perspective - Disney checked all of the boxes of my wish list - multiple spaces for quiet time, great accommodations, personable staff, delicious kid friendly food, quality cocktails, various times for entertainment so we did not have to rush, and kid’s club (fun/safe place that Charlie loved to visit so that we did not need to bring a babysitter along)

Day 3-4 We had a great time a Castaway Cay ! A stingray swam right beside us ☺️

💥A few tips that I learned on this trip 💥
- if you have Verison Wireless be sure to add travel pass to your plan before you go, otherwise Onboard internet can get pricey
- Ask your travel agent to help you sign up for onboard and port activities before you sail. Things fill up quickly.
- Do not be nervous about signing your children up for kid’s club. They have one cast member assigned to each child, so it is basically like a free babysitter that your children have a blast with during their designated time.
-- take advantage of purchasing a placement for your next cruise while on board. It saves you 10 % and your have 2 years to use it on your next cruise
- pack sand toys ! They have them for sale on Castaway Cay for $20 if you forget 😉

Day 2 - Our day at sea was eventful, from goofy golf, to swimming, great dining, Charlie made Space goo at kid’s club, signature drinks with fireworks , and we had a fun conversation about Charlie eating all of the Halloween candy before Halloween with Jack and Sally
