Yet another milestone is finished. 4 years of working on the critter barn is done. We will add fans this spring, giving our animals year round protection from the elements.
Soon we will begin building play structures for the goats and sheep to play. Thank you for the support, we continue to work hard at making a great experience for your family.

To my many friends that live across the globe. We are roughly 300 miles from the fires in Southern California. I think of friends like who are much closer.
We pray for those affected by these fires in that area. As a kid growing up in that area. Santa Ana winds were no joke. We lived next to a flee market and we were instructed as kids to watch for the flying tin, I always made a point to stand behind the hay stacks we had when feeding our cows.
Isaac is also currently safe and away from the affected area as well. It’s going to take years to recover these areas.

Come and have your child's Birthday party at the farm.
Pricing depends on if the farm is open to the public or not (i.e. Baby Animals Days or Pumpkin Season)
We offer a 2-hour table area for your child’s Birthday Party. In that time your Child and guests will have 1 hour of fun around the farm. (Guests must stay with the farmer guide when the farm is closed) This includes the Petting Zoo, Hamster Wheels, Trike Track, Games, super slide and the Zip Lines. You may bring in outside food and beverages (No Alcohol). We have a refrigerator and Freezer for your convenience. We are excited to help you celebrate your child’s birthday at Dutch Hollow Farms.

Birthday Parties start booking March 22nd to October 26th

What to Expect

We have 4 stations for your students to enjoy. Each station is about 13 minutes long with a 3 minute rotation and are as follows:
(not in any order)
Milking Betty or Clarible (our fake Goat/Cow) what milk is used for
Life Cycle of a plant/ Plant a starter plant (Vegetable)
Visit and learn about our farm animals in the critter barn and hands on with baby animals
Story Time/ Learn about Pollinators

We ask you to arrive 15 minutes before your field trip will begin.

Cost
Students $10.00 per Student
Teachers and Aids Free
Parents and Siblings (This includes Homeschool)$10.00

Schools are always welcome to stay for lunch/ Snack and play at the farm.

Must have 12 children, over the age of 3 to book a field Trip.

The holidays got you feeling like……..

Denali is one of my best goats. She always looks a lot bigger than what she really is. Animals are no different than humans, well there’s some major differences, but there are a lot of similarities. Some will show pregnancy more than others. Baby Animal Days is coming this spring!!

No more Half Measures.

do you think I can get a politician to pass a bill to make it illegal to bury concrete? From this point on, I vow nothing that is built at this farm from now on will be a half measure.

As we plan for 2025, I just want to say Thank You. To all those that have supported us past and present. When we started everything in 2006, I don’t think we thought about being open longer than 5 years. We Thank the town of Riverbank for our humble beginnings.
Moving to my parents farm has presented many challenges. But through it all, you keep supporting in good times and bad.
I guess if it was easy, everyone would do it. I just wanted to let you we are committed to making a place you can be proud of and that we can allow people of all walks of life and financial means to visit us.
Next up in 2025 Tulips (end of February into March)

Our tulips think it’s spring in the Netherlands. After putting out some fertilizer on the tulips and daffodils yesterday…….Farmer John is pretty darn happy to see this rain push it into the ground. This is also a much needed drink of water for those bulbs. We expect full bloom in early to mid March of 2025.

We have over a dozen different photo backdrops set up for you and your family. You can even get a photo with Santa. For just $5 a person you can hang out with the animals, get pictures with your family to celebrate this Christmas season.
Photos with Santa, you can have them printed on the spot for a nominal cost, a digital copy can also be sent to you at no extra charge. This Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 7pm. Hope to see you there!!
Details to come soon about a potential photo with a goat. For this weekend, just Santa

This is what it is all about. As we wind down another year. I got to enjoy an amazing sunset while spraying the tulips with a pre-emergent spray to keep pesky weeds out of our flowers.
We had an amazing group of kids from visit the farm and learn about some of challenges and success in farming in California. We even let them use the zip lines for a while. 😂
