What an incredible photo of the Red Shed that used to be called the Monarch Bar & Cafe. This photo is said to be from the 1930’s and is courtesy of Tim Streets.
The two people in the photo are thought to be the owner who is related to Tim and the cook.

We are digging for more history to share and would mlove to see more pictures and hear stories so that we can collect and share!

Perfect for families! Stunning rental whether you’re heading to Yellowstone, driving through Montana, or just want a quiet getaway. Very large place. We had a group of 9 adults and two 6 year olds. We had plenty of space and privacy. Everyone enjoyed the dart board, foosball table, and Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. The kids especially loved the play area under the stairs! They also provided a ton of puzzles and board games. Upstairs has all the sleeping quarters. The bedrooms were clean and spacious. 2 of the rooms have connected bathrooms, the other 3 rooms share one in the hallway. Downstairs is the common area with all the games mentioned above, dining room, kitchen, laundry room and bathroom. Everything worked as expected and made family dinners easy. The backyard….what a stellar backyard. Lots of room for the kids to run around. It has a creek and small dock. The sound of the running water from the creek was amazing. We sat on the dock one evening and watched the birds fly around catching insects then fly back to their nests along the cliff on the other side of the creek. They also provide a BBQ and a rolling fire pit (and s’mores skewers!) we used every night. Plenty of seating and a smaller dining table for any Al Fresca dining. This little town has a small restaurant/bar a 3 minute walk from the house. We went Saturday night, mainly because that’s karaoke night! We also found two amazing hikes about 15-20 minute drive, Upper Sluice Boxes state park, and memorial falls. Ann is one of the hosts and the one we had the pleasure to work with during this trip. Very helpful with our questions and always responded in a timely manner. Thank you for memories!
