*WARMING CENTER OPENING*

Goose Creek United Methodist Church (142 Red Bank Road) will open as a warming center this evening, Thursday, Jan. 16.

Intake will be 7- 10 PM.

Guests can stay 7 PM to 7 AM and will have access to a cot with linens and a pillow. A warm dinner and breakfast will be served.

The center will again open nightly next week on the following days:
🔹 Monday, Jan. 20
🔹 Tuesday, Jan. 21
🔹 Wednesday, Jan. 22

All Berkeley County Government Offices, County Courthouse, Library Branches, Berkeley Animal Center, Cypress Gardens, and Landfill/Convenience Centers will be closed on Wednesday, January 1.

The County Courthouse will still hold a Bond Court session at 11 a.m.

This Thursday, November 21st is the LAST Moncks Corner Farmers Market for 2024! We will be holding our Holiday Market, so please come out and shop local and get your Christmas shopping done early. We will be at the Market Pavilion, directly behind Delta Pharmacy, from 3-6pm.

🚨COLONIAL DAY is THIS Saturday and has a special admission price $10/person, $5/children and student with ID, 6 and under are free. There will be lots of vendors, presenters, games, etc to celebrate Berkeley County’s rich history!

🕷️This is a one-of-kind event you don't want to miss. This year there will be multiple nights to experience the spooktacular fun!🕷️

**PLEASE NOTE: ALL TICKETS WILL BE PRE-SOLD. There will be no tickets sold at the gate on any of the event nights. (October 24th, 25th, or 26th)

HAUNTED SWAMP EXPERIENCE: (includes boat ride through swamp, haunted house, & haunted walking trail) $30 per ticket, No children under 12. Children under 16 MUST have a ticket holding adult accompany them! (price includes General Admission). Those who purchase a Haunted Swamp Experience ticket will pick a 1-hour timeframe & MUST utilize the boat ride/haunted house/walking trail experience during that allotted timeframe.

Time frames are:
💀7:45pm
🎃 8:45pm
🦇 9:45pm
👻 10:45pm (Fri. & Sat.)

⚠️Ex. if you purchase tickets for Oct. 24th for 7:45pm. You will get on a boat any time between 7:45 and 8:45. This way everyone does not have to stand in line for a long period of time. Your times and/or dates cannot be changed. If you show up late, you forfeit your spot. Groups must check in together.⚠️

GENERAL ADMISSION: $5 for 6 years & up! 🍭5 & under free🍭 (This ticket does NOT include the Halloween Swamp Experience. It DOES include access to story-time, marshmallow roast, kids' games, and access to food trucks.)

May we all take time to remember and honor the countless lives lost that day and in the days since, through cancer and other lung-related illnesses.
