Toastmasters Meets every Thursday Cassville's Library from 6:00-7:00pm. Our meetings are hybrid so please message for a link or join us around back in the lower meeting room. During this hour, members improve on weak habits and add power to good ones. Areas of focus include but are not limited to:
Planned Speech - focuses on delivering a message as it is intended to the audience. Table Topics - fo

Our Story

Every Thursday afternoon the Barry-Lawrence Toastmasters meets at Mount Vernon’s Veteran’s home in a community room from 5:15 pm -6:15 pm. Doors open at 5:00 for networking. During this hour, members and guests add strength to their good communication and leadership habits while improving their not so good habits. This is done is an environment that is safe to learn and explore effective ways of getting your message heard. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: Planned Speech - focuses on delivering a message as it is intended to the audience. Table Topics - focuses on one's ability to think and speak quickly. Evaluations - giving constructive feedback to the speakers, letting them know how their message was perceived, what went well, how could have it been improved, and what the elevator really liked about the speech.
