Carnival changed its loyalty program to a rewards program. That means people who have been loyal to Carnival for decades just got thrown off the ship. Your past loyalty means nothing. The loyalty program will phase out completely. Now you will have yearly rewards status, that relies on how much money you spend each year with Carnival, like having status on an airline.

Note: some people are asking me if I got screwed over. No, I did not. I don't have loyalty status with Carnival. I rarely cruise with them.

Southwest Airlines now code shares with Iceland Air for flights from USA to Europe. The Companion Pass allows you to buy your flight but take a person with you for free. You can get a companion pass now with the Southwest Credit card. I did a different offer where I got the free companion pass for 2 years.

If you plan on renting a car and use your credit car perk for free car insurance when traveling, be aware collision waiver perks on credit cards don't work in Israel, Jamaica, the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. You must bring the declarations page of your home car insurance to prove it covers you instead.
