Here in the Northern Hemisphere we call the full moon closest to the Autumn Equinox, the Harvest Moon. This year, the Harvest Moon lands on September 20th, and the Autumn Equinox begins on September 22nd. With the Harvest Moon (as with any full moon) we get a beautiful dusk till dawn moonlight. Sitting in the hot tub on the deck at the Lodge, seeing the sillouette of the mountains in the distance, lit by the light of the full Harvest Moon above you, is truly a sight to behold. We named the Lodge for the song, Harvest Moon by Neil Young as well as this wondrous occurance which happens once a year and ushers in our favorite season in the mountains- AUTUMN!
