When traveling, what is your favorite past time?

I enjoy encapsulating myself within the culture of where I am, and whatever it may be. I find it is the best way to learn new things about an area! Meeting locals and asking what is their favorite restaurants, what do they normally do on a nice weekend, etc. A lot of times I use uber or Lyft drivers as a source, they tend to have a lot of information!

This past month I was lucky enough to be able to visit the MET on fifth ave in NYC. The experience was exponential. 10/10 would recommend going 2 days at least! This museum is filled with twists and turns of our Earth’s history of inspiring people and artifacts. I’m not kidding- it goes on and on… and on! Some of the artifacts went back to year 400-500! Totally inspiring to see such a beautiful establishment created from thousands of years of human history 😄

Today I got to visit the Grand Canyon after a massive snow storm hit- and the view was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely breathtaking; the way the snow added a depth to the canyon was a sight to see. Not many people visit the Grand Canyon in the winter time, but after my visit it might be the only time of year I will attempt it!

Was the 12 hour drive battling the snow worth it? I think so 😉
