I had George back out for a morning trip. He’s lost several nice blue cats on previous trips but finally got some redemption today with this nice blue cat. And to sweeten it up he caught it on 8ft crappie rod with 6lb test. Good job sir.

This morning I had Lawrence and his wife out on Lake Conroe for a catfish trip. They live here on the Lake and were looking for any tips I could give them for when they purchase their new boat soon. We fished the summer time pattern and Lawrence reeled in his PB blue cat that we released back. They also took home a few channel cats for a fish fry.

This morning I had Jose and his buddies back out on Lake Conroe for half day catfish trip. They went straight to work and boxed a nice mess of channels with a few nice blues mixed in.
Everything was caught in 20-25 fow.

Two great trips today on Lake Conroe. I had Brittany and her family out this morning. The bite was decent and they put together a nice box of fish.

On my afternoon trip I had Amanda and her girls out for a catch and release trip. They all caught a good number of channels with a few nice blues mixed in.

This morning I had Manson and his grandson out for half day catfish trip. It’s his grandson 9th birthday today. Happy birthday young man. The weather was nice and the bite was steady. They kept me busy and boxed a 2 man limit along with a bunch of throw backs.

This morning I had Juan and family out for half day catfish trip. We had light winds and blue bird sky. The bite was decent and they put a nice box together.

I had Ben and his son out on my afternoon trip. This was a catch and release trip so didn’t get much pictures but they had a good time despite the blistering heat.

I had George out today for a half day catfish trip. We fished for an hour this morning and caught 20 before the storms ran us off the lake. We regrouped and went out again at 1pm after the storms and fished for another 2 hrs and filled up the box. This was George 6th trip with me and it’s always a good time having him out.

This afternoon I had Bobby and family out for half day catfish trip. We had bad storms earlier in the morning and a lot of the creeks are muddy. We ran out to main lake and they went to work. We fished for about 2.5 hrs and said they had enough for a good fish fry so we headed back in.

This afternoon I had Jason and his wife out on Lake Conroe for half day crappie/ catfish combo trip. We targeted crappie for the first 1.5 hrs in high wind and waves then moved on to get some catfish. They managed to get 5 crappie and 25 catfish and decided they had enough for a good fish fry so we ended the trip and hour early.

This morning I had Rocky and his buddy out on Lake Conroe for a half day crappie/catfish combo trip. The morning started out with dense fog but cleared up after an hour or so. We fished crappie for the first 2 hrs then we switched over to catfish. They ended up with a nice mixed box of fish.

I had James and Tito out yesterday afternoon for my 2nd trip of the day. The wind picked up compared to my morning trip but that didn’t stop these guys from putting a nice box of fish together. They caught 35 nice keepers and decided they had enough fish and ended the trip early.
