Our staff is fully trained in First Aid and CPR and our vehicles are equipped with fully automated wheelchair lifts for easy accessibility. Trans-Unit is in compliance with the requirements of The N.J health and senior services Department with regard to non-emergency transportation services. We are a company with over two decades of medical transportation experience. Our specialized transportation is available to all, including senior citizens, people with limited mobility, people using wheelchairs, and parents with children with special needs. Our services are also requested by hospitals, doctors, insurance companies, nursing or group homes, and assisted living facilities. We are a Tech friendly company , giving our contractors the tools to easily schedule appointments online and schedule a return ride with just a click of a button. We are looking to make a difference in the community we live in by offering a different and better kind of transportation for elders living in Camden and Burlington county. EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) $20-22/HOUR

Job Requirements:
EMT Certification
Must have a BLS CPR certification for health care providers. (TransUnit LLC can provide)
Driver’s License in good standing (if hired as a driver)
Successful passing of background check and drug screening
Lift requirements 150 lbs.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Ability to assist disabled patients, operate wheelchair lift door and secure wheelchair.

Valid Driver's License Necessary

Minimum of three years previous safe driving experience. Driving record must be in good standing with the Motor Vehicle Commission. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. Ability to assist disabled students, operate wheelchair lift door and secure wheelchair.

Mavo “mobility assistant vehicle operator “ license prefered . We train and certify mavo operators if one is needed .

Pay starts at $11.00 for new mavos . your pay will be dependent on how many runs you are capable of completing within your shift . over time opportunity.
