These ladies from Michigan are the best! I have truly enjoyed their happy attitudes, stories and wonderful personalities. I’m sure the Missouri Star Quilt Co. appreciated their visit also. The amount of fabric they bought was unbelievable but I know the three of them will be making fantastic quilts.
These girls make hosting a true pleasure and I hope one day they will return.

The seasons in the Midwest can be brutal but also beautiful. This is so true of our last Winter with one of the coldest on record. But Spring is so close, just around the corner. Signs of green grass sprigs pushing up through the earth, the small sprouts of my daffodils and finally the furnace not constantly running. The MGH is also showing signs of life after this long Winter. We’re starting the new year by doing our Spring cleaning. Washing walls, windows, screens, clearing spider webs, etc. We’ve already hosted four families in the month of March (which is early for us) but we’re anticipating 2019 to be the best year ever. The seasons in the Midwest can be either brutal or beautiful. This last winter has been a testament to the brutal conditions we fought through the winter months. But Spring is here and beautiful is to begin. The green grass sprigs are pushing up through the earth, my daffodils are beginning to sprout and my furnace isn’t constantly running. The Mooresville Guest House is also preparing for the new year and new guests. A lot of Spring cleaning includes washing windows, screens and walls, eliminating spiderwebs etc. Adding beautiful flower baskets and containers truly lifts a person from the winter doldrums to Spring smiling. If you have a chance to visit our area for whatever reason, I hope you’ll consider staying at the Mooresville Guest House. IT’S FALL (ALMOST) Y’ALL
And the Mooresville Guest House is preparing for the fall season after an extremely hot and dry summer. We are noticing a hint of light multi-color tree leaves, the begining migration of summer birds and pumpkins are beginning to creep into store displays. It’s the new season for enjoying our porch swing with a hot cup of cocoa under a starry cool night. The peace and quiet of the country is welcome after a hard day. The Mooresville Guest House is only minutes from the Missouri Star Quilt Co. in Hamilton, Mo. HAPPY HAPPY GIRLS FROM KANSAS
My oh my, I think they brought craft materials for a month stay. Having fun being together quilting, scrapbooking and just being together. What a great group of ladies that I hope will come back to the Mooresville Guest House in the future.

THE WILD AND CRAZY LADIES HAVE RETURNED!
These Olathe-Gardner girls were guests in 2017 and have returned to the Mooresville Guest House once again. By the pictures of their baggage and sacks they may stay a month. No problem, love to have them. Lots of quilting and scrapbooking, a little wine and lots of gab. They are the best!
