BOOKED: Utopia of the Seas Spring Break 2025

We pulled it off and this family is headed on an amazing spring break aboard the Utopia of the Seas - one of Royal Caribbean’s newest ships!

This family is a mixed group of first time cruisers, teens who have traveled and college students - and Utopia definitely checks the boxes for all of them. Opting for an interior balcony room, midship they are lessening their chances for seasickness - and some prime people watching right in the middle of the entertainment.

One of the coolest places I’ve ever skied - on a glacier and the original “North Face!”

Fun fact: I’m an avid skier - it wasn’t uncommon to catch me and my husband watching weather reports in FL and jet setting out to Denver to catch some powder days. I haven’t been since I had kids but hope to get back at it next year.

BOOKED: Sandal's Dunn River for 10 Year Anniversary

Ya'll...bookings like this, it's why I love my job. The B family came to me with a dream and some flight points - and good golly we made it happen!

I am so excited for them to enjoy Jamaica this September where they can bask on white sandy beaches, enjoy watersports (and each other), and be near some AMAZING waterfalls for some great excursions...while using some airline miles to get there (yay Southwest!)

Dunn's River is one of the newly remodeled, Sandals 2.0 resorts - meaning that over the brand's history - they have learned some things and are making changes like: more restaurants for more intimate dining experiences (this resort originally had 5, now it has 12!) + a truly all-inclusive experience from wheels down to wheels up, no fumbling your way toward a taxi or being denied restaurant entry!

September can't get here soon enough!

Are you waiting on a quote from me?

Typically my turnaround time is under 72 hours but with school changes due to snow days (2 delay start days here + a snow day today) and some emergency doctor appointments for our baby due to her food allergies - my work time has taken a hit.

I expect to be completely caught up on quotes by this weekend and have punch lists out for all booked clients shortly, thank you for your patience!

I’m prioritizing those traveling by March - and then will go from there in order of travel date, but if something urgent has come up for you please send me a message.

The mom hat has been heavy this week - and I appreciate your support of my business and flexibility with it while we make sure our kids are all taken care of.

Mardi Gras is such a fun event at Universal, picture spending your day riding rides, catching beads at their parade and then special concerts on the weekends! It’s one of my favorites!

My most quoted destination the first week of January was…ARUBA!

There is a big uptick in interest to visit this island paradise…here’s a few reasons why:

1. Southwest flies there directly from the US.
2. It’s below the “hurricane belt” so your chances for year-round good weather are really high - it’s only about 15 miles north of Venezuela!
3. It’s part of the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao) and is well known to be a haven for snorkeling, scuba and beautiful turquoise blue water with white sandy beaches.
4. It’s considered a “safe country” with a level 1 travel advisory with a “first world” modern infrastructure - meaning you can breathe a little easier and explore off resort property and making it a wonderful place to take the kids, too.

Stay at this all-inclusive (one side is adults-only, one family friendly!) that features a private beach, access to downtown Oranjestad (the capital city) for exploring and shopping, waterside spa, & casino for 5 nights this summer from $2079 for 2!

"I would do this myself - but there's just a lot!"

I hear this often when working with clients trying to plan a big, memorable adventure - and they are right! It is a lot!

You've got everyone's opinions to consider, plus your own, and your budget - it's somewhere completely new...what if you mess up? This blog says this...that blog says that.

I get it - and this is also where I shine.

Similar to hiring an accountant to do your taxes, this is exactly why you want a travel advisor - we are in the weeds with this, and typically have traveled to these places before.

That's why custom travel is one of my favorite things to book! It's so cool to send my clients to my favorite pubs in the UK, to a fantastic pasta experience in Rome...wandering wineries in Switzerland..I just love it!

Last year, I sent clients to: Ireland, UK, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg (and I've been to all these countries too!).

Currently - I am working on some proposals for clients to travel to UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Austria, Hungary, and Germany.

The sweetest trip kick off 2025 bookings!

What 👏 a 👏 year! 👏

Looking back at this folks, I’m just in awe! I enjoy this work so much - thank you for helping me soar and your sense of adventure.

I’ll be taking tomorrow off (It’s our 9th Wedding Anniversary!) and will see you all in 2025 🎉
