In January of this year the dragin eclipsed 15,000 billfish released

Including almost 2000 blue marlin, over 350 of those caught on fly

Day two of the Ladies Los Suenos Tournament was EPIC on the Sea Angel. We brought in 43 sailfish putting us in second for the day. What a treat to fish with these women. Not once did anyone put down their rod. We shook off the misses and celebrated the releases. Thanks to Captain BC and Andrea Hoke! I very much enjoyed being a part of it. Congrats to all the ladies that fished yesterday it was ROUGH out there.

We wiggled when we should have waggled today. Very slow fishing for us. We had two bites and caught both (one sail one mahi) Tomorrow is another day!!!

One of our contacts just had a cancellation for their Australian Black Marlin Season. If anyone is interested in a 6 night/7 day Marlin fishing charter with game boat, 15 October to 21 October 2022 ex Port Douglas/Lizard Island Australia. This is right in the middle of the giant black marlin season in Far North Queensland, Australia.

Total cost is $100,000 AUD for the 6 nights/7 days ex Port Douglas. Includes Phoenix One mothership, game boat Little Audrey with Capt. Brett Goetze and crew, food, fuel, alcohol, dive master and The Whaler, chase boat. The boats can comfortably accommodate 6-8 people. Suggested tips are 10 percent of the total cost. The exchange rate is currently very favourable for USD.

Day 1 Leg 3 of the Los Suenos triple crown started off with a turtle release and some marine debris clean up any line that could harm additional critters. We went on to catch and release 13 sails for a solid day.

Today was the end of leg 1 of the Los Suenos Triple Crown. Team Dragin Fly Fishing Charters Costa Rica ended up in 10th place overall ( out of 37 boats). That is especially good given we are the only charter boat in the competition. We had a good time. These guys do keep me entertained. George Beckwith Jr. Pat Renfro
