Good news we just opened our 2025 online calendar for the Wasabi and Reelax! Book your day before it’s too late! Can’t wait till spring? Captain Adam will be running some bluefin tuna trips the next few months in Morehead . If you would like to fish in St. Thomas this month or Costa Rica in January or February give Capt Corbett a call . 🙏 Let’s make our 10th season a great one!

Well, this was a first for me .
I hooked a sail from the bridge hand the rod down and get ready to hook another one ,i hear the boys screaming that they dropped the rod in, I had another rod in the bridge with the line dangling on the covering boards, and somehow when the rod flew over it hooked it and got tangled , so I hand that rod down and back up to it, we get my rod out of the water, untangle it, and then catch the sailfish 😂  Angler's Envy Custom Rods

Finally had a day off from my Reel job and went fishing lol jk this is what we do every day!! sorry for the lack of posts. We have been fishing out of Oregon Inlet and we’re back in Morehead now.
Three generations of smiles right here! Big small we do it all

Our Story

Reelax Fishing Charters offers world class fishing for all species.As well as family day on the water and sight seeing excursions. We are one of the only private boats in the area specializing bottom fishing and we offer electric reels for a more productive day on the water! We are located in Atlantic Beach, a short drive from Emerald Isle, NC. ALL TRIPS ARE UP TO 6 PEOPLE MAXIMUM. All prices are subject to change with fuel increases.


  • Full Day-$1250- On our full day gulf stream trips we have the option of trolling for species such as mahi, wahoo, tuna, sailfish,blue marlin,king mackerel. Or bottom fishing for species such as grouper, snapper, trigger fish, seabass. Generally 6am-5pm

  • 3/4 Day-$850-On our 3/4 day trips we usually stay within 25 miles of land and fish for king mackerel, false albacore, mahi, black seabass. Generally 6am-2pm. Or 12pm-8pm

  • 1/2 Day-$450-(Morning, Lunch, Afternoon)On our 1/2 day trips we stay within sight of land and target species such as spanish mackerel, Bluefish, flounder, drum, and cobia. Our half days are perfect for the whole family as well as small children because we can always look for the wild horses and dolphins around our numerous islands while fishing!Generally 630Am 11Am 330Pm Departures.
