New floor install.
The species of wood is Ash, cut from logs that have been stored on the property for the last 10 years.
The walls are covered with the outside of the logs, while the flooring was milled into 3" & 6" planks.
Sanding & finishing to come at a later date.

The boards in this hallway were buckled due to a slow water leak behind the refrigerator. Justin repaired the affected area without disturbing the wood in the other rooms.
Wood is Somerset prefinish in Hickory, Natural.

*The dark section left in the middle of the floor is from a rug being there for years. The sun will fade the floor around rugs. Pretty common with pine.

Refinished this 2.25" Maple floor. First refinishing it had in 60 years.
The homeowner grew up in this house, and remembers there always being a big rug in the front room. She says there will never be another big rug covering this floor again🙌.
Homeowner requested the floor match the existing trim, stairs and railing & Justin DID NOT disappoint. A custom color was made by using Minwax stains.
Wood is Maple.
Custom color mix.
Semi gloss finish.

We got the shock of a lifetime when we uncovered this nice oak flooring under this old glue.
The wood was very well preserved.

The orange color of the finish happens with age and sunlight.
It was nice to see it back to it's original glory.
