Morgan Hill, California is surrounded by nature with the Santa Cruz Mountains to the West and the Diablo Mountains to the East. The narrow valley between these two ranges, particularly at Morgan Hill’s northern end, is an important wildlife crossing. Tucked into the foothills on both sides of the valley, are hidden reservoirs and ponds, beautiful views, and miles upon miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. These preserves offer a calming juxtaposition to urban Silicon Valley, just to the north.

If you love uncrowded nature, then Morgan Hill is worth the trip! The parks and trails are within easy driving distance to the heart of downtown, with plenty of eateries to choose from for the perfect pre- or post-hike snack.
