Good morning! I’ve been a little ‘absent’ this weekend. Recouping from last week, but we are ready to go at it again! Folks, our Western North Carolina people aren’t going to stop needing help anytime soon so as long as we get donations, we are going to see that they make it to their destination. For monetary donations, we can take them at on Venmo -LLC or I highly recommend contacting Samaritan’s Purse because they are AMAZING! For supplies, medical items, pet food etc, we can take them at the office or you can send them to the office at 3945 Old Loving Rd, Morganton, Ga 30560. Please please please note on Venmo that it’s a gift for disaster relief and any packages need to note the same because we do receive a lot of things for guests, owners, etc and we need to be able to know where they go. It’s getting cold in the mountains, expected 30’s at night this week, and there are still people walking around with NOTHING including a roof over their head. Blankets, tents, sleeping bags for kids and adults are all needed. Think warm because they are not and it’s absolutely heart breaking. If you can’t give, please pray because those prayers make a difference!
Be thankful for we are blessed. Prayers for all of the people in the path of Milton. Please, evacuate. These storms are literally killers.

We made our run to Burnsville NC yesterday. The people in that area need so much help! 💔 Please find a church ⛪️,
a fire 🔥 department or a family if you want to donate money. They also still need a lot of supplies. I wish I could personally thank Governor DeSantis from Florida for the help he has sent! It was amazing to see them working in the mountains! If you can’t give, please pray. The devastation is so much worse than you see in the media. ‼️‼️ ‼️
So so much worse. We are going to continue to help as much as we can! Here are a few pics from our journey. ⛰️

😋 Yummy!

Did you know our orchard is more than just apples?

While they aren’t available for upick, we do have a variety of fruits and berries including Blueberries, Black Berries, Peaches, Champagne Grapes, and multiple varieties of Pears.

Today we spent the morning harvesting a round of champagne grapes that we are currently destemming, pressing, and turning into fresh grape jelly.

That jelly is then used in our baked goods (rumor has it more brioche donuts are coming?). When we say farm to table, we aren’t kidding.

Pop in today, grab a pear cardamom pie (also from our trees), and perhaps we may slip you a fresh grape or two to try. You may even catch Luke using our in house fruit press on the porch and be able to ask him a question or two!!
