The 8th annual Witch's Paddle is scheduled for Friday, October 29th at sunset, departing from the Tidelands Park area and paddling north up the embarcadero towards the rock (tides permitting).

Join the fun and get your SUP and costume ready!

As in year's past, this event is a fundraiser for the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County so make a donation in its name and join the fun, or plan to view the water parade that evening.

Brian stayed at our "Beautifully Remodeled Home" at 2585 Ironwood in Morro Bay and left this review on AirBnB:

"My family stayed at this home when we had to travel to the Morro Bay area, and enjoyed our time there. The home is in a quiet neighborhood and close to Morro strand, a community park, and just a few minutes drive to the harbor and other nice places to the visit (ie. Morro Rock). Nice view of the coast from the deck. The décor is modern and the appliances and amenities worked well. We had one issue arise while we were there that affected our ability to use the bathtub upstairs, but the people staffing URelax were responsive and sympathetic to the situation and made good efforts to address the matter. Very professional. The layout of the home is interesting, in that it is essentially two units that are combined, so it would work really well if there were two small family units together."

Looking for a fun way to spend the day while vacationing in the area? There are several fishing charters out of the Morro Bay harbor where all the equipment and licensing is provided, plus helpful pros to ensure you go home with your full catch!
Virg's Landing is one of the oldest charter companies in the area and provides a great time for the whole family.
They do whale watching tours too, and while there are always whales in our waters, the annual migration south of the grey whales is from Dec to Feb, which means many more to see!

"We loved our stay! The house is super cute and comfortable and the location was fantastic. It’s a 2 min walk to a great beach that was mostly empty even though it was August. The outdoor shower made coming home from the beach a breeze with sandy kids. The house had everything we needed and our kids enjoyed the games in the game cabinet. We love Morro Bay and we would definitely recommend this beach house if you’re looking for a relaxing beach vacay."

"Five minute walk to beach, clean, simple home for the whole family! Loved hearing the ocean from the house, and opening up the garage to play ping pong and get some fresh ocean air. "This house was such a wonderful place to spend the week of my 50th birthday with close family and friends. We were a full house of 12, but the house felt spacious, with multiple levels and outdoor options. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beach was a short walk away, and the rental agency was very responsive with one small issue we had with the garbage disposal. I highly recommend!"

Here we grow again! After unprecedented growth in 2021 we are happy to welcome our newest reservationist, Michela!

Michela was born in Italy and has lived in the United States for over 25 years, working in both the hospitality and the legal industries. She speaks both Italian and English fluently, and has a working knowledge of German and French, so she is an amazing asset with our European guests.

When she's not working, Michela enjoys surfing, playing with her cats and working on her dream home construction in rural Atascadero.

Slowly but surely, outdoor festivals are returning to the Central Coast and one our staff favs is the Whale Rock Music Festival - Castoro Cellars produced by the generous Udsen Family, where proceeds support the music program at the local high school.

Late September is absolutely beautiful in Paso Robles and Morro Bay area and we have some great vacation rental homes still available for the weekend of this festival- a 3-bd loft on Oceanfront in Cayucos, a 3-db bungalow in downtown Morro Bay, and a 3-bd home in north Morro Bay, for example.
