One of the biggest Myth’s that I hear from people have never cruised before is the Cost!
“Cruises are only for the Rich” So let’s slay this myth right now.
Many people who believe this have not just never cruised but also never done any research and Just took the word of others or they have only heard of the Luxury cruises. The truth and reality is that many cruise lines offer affordable options and are comparable to or even less than traditional land based vacations. As lipedema progresses from one stage to the next, the nodules become denser, forming clusters of that increasingly hinder patients’ quality of life. This causes some patients to become disabled and struggling for quality of life’s

📢 Let’s spread awareness about Lipedema! 💙 Lipedema is a chronic condition that affects the distribution of fat cells in the body, primarily in the legs and buttocks but can be in many areas of the body such as arms and stomach areas as well.. It often goes undiagnosed and can cause pain, swelling, and mobility issues. Let’s come together to educate others and support those living with Lipedema. 💪💙 🌍✨

Lipedema is characterized by a few common symptoms, including:

1️⃣ Enlarged and disproportionate fat deposits in the legs and buttocks, often extending from the hips down to the ankles.

2️⃣ The affected areas may feel soft and look “column-like” or “tree-trunk” in shape, with a clear delineation from the rest of the body.

3️⃣ Easy bruising and sensitivity to touch in the affected areas.

4️⃣ Pain and discomfort, often described as aching or tenderness.

5️⃣ Swelling and fluid retention, especially in the lower extremities.

6️⃣ Limited mobility and difficulty with activities that involve the legs, such as walking or climbing stairs.

Remember, if you suspect you may have lipedema or know someone who does, it’s important to consult with a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. 💙💪

Canaveral Port Authority Opens Applications for Junior Ambassador Program

The Canaveral Port Authority Board of Commissioners is again inviting Brevard County high school students to apply to become young ambassadors for Port Canaveral.
Applications are open for the 2024-25 school year closing on June 30, 2024.
The Port’s Junior Port Ambassador Program offers local students an opportunity to see how a seaport works and explore career options in the maritime industry. To be eligible for the program, the student applicant must be a junior in the 2024-25 school year and attending a public school, private school or homeschooling program in Brevard County.
Chairman of the Canaveral Port Authority Micah Loyd said: “This program introduces local students to the diverse range of jobs and career paths within the maritime industry. All Commissioners are looking forward to working closely with the upcoming group of Junior Ambassadors this fall.”
All Canaveral Port Authority Commissioners will participate in this year’s program, which starts later this summer, after the start of the school year.
Launched in 2019, the Junior Ambassador Program introduces students to the port’s partners representing the cruise, cargo, recreation, hospitality, military and environmental sectors
