Crested Butte had its first major snowfall of the 18/19 winter season, and things are definitely looking like winter around here today! With these early snows and the ability to use your Epic Pass in Crested Butte for the first time this year, there is no better time to book your ski holiday!!

Thunderstorms in the mountains are always something to behold, but this was the first real gully washer we’ve experienced at our new home. I’m glad to say that the house is just fine, and the hardscaping to funnel water away from the house works exactly as designed!

With this much needed moisture, the wildflowers will be going off in the next week or two. Book your trip today to experience the Wildflower Capital of Colorado!

Lots of news happening in Crested Butte this week! If you haven't heard, the ski area is being bought by Vail Resorts. Whether this turns out to be a good or bad thing remains to be seen, but one certainty is that things are going to be getting even busier around Crested Butte next winter!
