Established in 1892 as a gathering place for worship, the Campmeeting District of Mount Gretna originated as a 10-day event with guests staying in tents! Eventually, cottages were built to accomodate guests all summer long.

This poem, written almost 100 years later in 1983, was found by a local resident and reiterates the love and endearment still held for such a special place close to a century after its origination. The love only continues to grow today, as more and more discover the magic of Mount Gretna.
