🚨 BREAKING 🚨

Universal has released the official ride lineup for Early Park Entry at the upcoming Epic Universe! 🎢

Early Park Entry (for guests staying at an on-property Universal Orlando Hotel only) will include all 3 attractions in Super Nintendo World as well as Celestial Park's Stardust Racers rollercoaster 🌠

Universal has also clarified that Early Park Entry will begin on May 23rd - Epic Universe's 2nd day of operation - meaning those attending on opening day will not have Early Park Entry available.

My favorite way to enhance your Disney experience is recommend getting the Disney dining plan!

When you look at those dining tabs- you will do a double take because it gets pricy! The dining plan is SO worth it! I would do every character meal if I could!

Hey friends! I have a ton of new followers since I last introduced myself so let me do this again!

My name is Amber Lyford and I have been a TA for 2 years. I am a middle school science teacher, chauffeur of my three kids, military wife, and Christian. I also have two fur babies that are Boston Terriers and they are the sweetest!

A common question is: What does a travel agent do? (This applies to any type of trip I book but let’s focus on Group travel!)

I’m a TA specializing in Destination Weddings/honeymoons and this is what I do for my clients:

-figuring out the resort & destination first, i send out proposals tailored to your vision and what we have discussed on our call

-once you choose your resort, I book the wedding date with the resort & request a room block

-I request a room block based on your “anticipated guests” let’s say you are expecting 80, I block 40 rooms

-Deposit is mostly $100 per room but that depends on the resort (you will shell out the deposit for the room block but that will go towards your room reservation, any excess will be credited back to you)

-if in case not all 40 rooms are booked, I release those rooms back to the resort so you won’t get penalized

- i take care of all the necessary timelines (penalty dates, releasing back of rooms to the resort, rsvp dates, final payment deadline, air info deadline, all kinds of deadlines lol)

- i also handle all the bookings of your guests, room & transfers are included in the contracted rate

- you will get a spreadsheet with all the guests bookings

- i double/triple/quadruple check all your guests flight details and make sure that they are flying on the right airport & they are arriving/departing on the dates on their reservation

- i handle all your guests questions about travel, resorts etc

- i also act as the middleman during the actual wedding planning process, if you’re in need of vendors I recommend some based on your destination (photographer, videographer, makeup, etc)

- i’m also very interactive during travel days, I get a call at 6am from a distressed guest I handle that

- i prepare all your travel documents

- i send out emails to everyone prior to your trip

- and God forbid something happens to your resort weeks leading to your wedding that it requires closure of the property, i can handle moving everyone in the group to another resort (or go another route)

- a lot more honestly but these are just the surface of what a travel advisor can do for you when planning a destination wedding.

For most people who use me, having that sense of security and knowing I am in their pocket if things go crazy gives them peace of mind!
