Life is too short to sit around waiting for others to explore the world with you. Go on that solo trip! These are a couple secrets about solo travel that you might not know:
1. It can be scary, but it’s so rewarding. There is so much growth that happens on a solo trip. When you are forced to figure things out on your own (except you’re not on your own because you have me) you grow and build this sense of adventure. It’s amazing!
2. There are tons of other solo travelers that you can meet along the way! There are many places all over the world that encourage solo travelers like coffee shops, museums, local events, and even hotel lounges/bars.
3. The whole trip is exactly what you want it to be! You don’t have to ask anyone else what they want to do today. You can decide from sun up to sun down how you want to spend your time and that just sounds awesome to me!

These are some common tips for making the most out of your vacation.
1. Upgrading to a private transfer makes you feel like VIP and it’s awesome! You can also upgrade your room to the better view or even the club level to have an elevated
experience.
2. This is hard for a lot of people, but the point of vacation is to disconnect, so next time try to disconnect from your phone and just enjoy yourself like you deserve!
3. You never know what new experiences you can have if you step outside your comfort zone and try something new! These make for the best memories!
4. I mean this one is a given. You really do feel like a VIP when you know you have a
private concierge in your back pocket to ask questions to, have for help with any issues, or whatever else you may need.

Things I wish people knew
1. This job can certainly be fun at times, but it’s also stressful and a lot of work too!
Sometimes people just see the glitz and the glam and think this isn’t a real job, but it so is.
2. I think this is something most people don’t know. How do we get paid? We make
commission from the supplier or brand of the hotel, transfer, etc. However, we only get paid if the client go on the trip.
3. There is so much more to working with an advisor than us just planning the trip. We have connections, knowledge, and expertise in the travel world that can be a huge asset during the whole travel process.
