With over 25 years of experience as an Investment Advisor and nine years as a dedicated State Farm agent, Bo Rester exemplifies a career rooted in hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. As one of only 900 State Farm agents nationwide to earn a second office, his agency is recognized among the Top 500 out of 19,500 agents. His commitment to excellence is also reflected in his leadership as President of the Mount Pleasant Rodeo, where he played a pivotal role in achieving official PRCA sanctioning.
Bo and his wife, Cheri, have been happily married for 42 years and are proud parents to four children—Anna (and Wes Crowder), Amanda (and Austin Messina), Jade (and Payton Mitchell), and Ethan— grandparents to nine, with another grandchild on the way. Bo cherishes time spent traveling, fishing, and supporting his grandchildren, as well as championing local charities and missions that further the Gospel of Christ.
An active member of the community, Bo's favorite Chamber event is "Happy Birthday USA!"—a free celebration that blends live music, fireworks, and a renewed message of patriotism, honoring Veterans and celebrating the joy of freedom. He particularly treasures seeing children waving flags under the glow of fireworks.
As a Chamber ambassador, Bo values the opportunity to welcome new businesses to Mount Pleasant, offering encouragement and support to those embarking on their dreams. He sees his role as one of fostering goodwill and strengthening the bond between the Chamber and the business community.

We had a fantastic time at the State of the City Luncheon, where leaders from across Mount Pleasant came together to discuss the progress and future of our vibrant community. It was inspiring to hear about the city’s vision for growth, innovation, and collaboration. Events like this remind us how important it is to work together to address challenges, embrace opportunities, and foster a thriving business environment.

We’re incredibly grateful to the City of Mount Pleasant for this gathering and creating a space where ideas can be shared, connections can be strengthened, and solutions can be explored. Marc Levesque holds a Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and a Bachelor’s degree from Taylor University. With a career spanning decade in education, Marc has served as Superintendent at Chapel Hill ISD and is currently the Interim Superintendent at Hawkins ISD. Additionally, he shares his passion for sports as a pickleball instructor at Northeast Texas Community College. Married to his wife, Julie, for 39 years. Marc enjoys golfing, playing pickleball, and mowing his lawn on his beloved XMARV. His leadership has been recognized through honors such as Chairman, issued by Region 8, and Member of the Thompson Leadership Academy XXV. Marc has done and continues to do a lot for our community, making a lasting impact through his dedication and service. A dedicated community supporter, his favorite Chamber events include the Golf Tournament, aligning with his love for the sport, and the New Teacher Breakfast, highlighting his commitment to education and supporting new educators.

Jay Senn, a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, brings his passion for community and leadership to his role as the owner of Mt. Pleasant Pet Resort. He thrives on balancing his professional life with a vibrant personal life, alongside his wife, Dr. Brittany Senn, and their two children, Addison and Declan. Jay is an avid sports enthusiast and cherishes quality time with his family.

An advocate for local businesses, Jay serves as a dedicated Chamber ambassador, finding joy in supporting the community through programs like the "Happy Birthday USA" event, which celebrates the 4th of July in true patriotic style. For Jay, being a Chamber ambassador means being a voice for local enterprises and fostering a thriving community spirit. Niki Huffman is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She serves as the Director of Community Relations and Development for Cypress Basin Hospice, a role she has passionately held for nearly eight years. Niki is married to Aaron Huffman of Pittsburg, and together they are parents to their vibrant almost-4-year-old, Ellie Kay, and Brody, their 7-year-old shelter-adopted Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix.
A fitness enthusiast, Niki enjoys weight training, creating content for social media, and diving into personal and leadership development through podcasts and books. Her dedication to community is evident through her five years of service with the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club, where she recently served as president and was honored as the 2023-2024 Rotarian of the Year. She has also contributed to the Main Street Advisory Board and Downtown Merchants Committee, holding leadership roles in both.
Niki’s favorite Chamber events are all those that bring people together, as she thrives on building connections and supporting her community. For her, being a Chamber Ambassador is about being a cheerleader for Mount Pleasant, bridging relationships between businesses, and expanding her network to advocate for both her role at Cypress Basin Hospice and the broader community.
