Planning on enjoying a beach front piña colada or an après ski hot coco this Spring Break? Either way these 5 airport tips will help ease the stress of travel until you can get to your paradise:

✈️ Download your Airlines app ahead of time! You’ll be able to check in earlier (24 hours before departure), select your seat, and download your boarding pass. In the event something goes wrong (flight delay, running late, etc.) you’ll be able to make flight changes from your app instead of waiting in line at the airport!

✈️ Airport parking is only getting more expensive but Ubers can be hard to come by for early morning flights or in foreign country’s. And not every city has a huge Uber/Lyft presence. By scheduling your ride to the airport ahead of time, you can rest assured that you won’t be missing any flights!

✈️ Arrive early to the airport, especially during spring break! It’s better to be 3 hours early than 3 minutes late. Certain spring break hub airports, like Orlando and Miami, recommend even more time during peak travel season. Purchasing TSA Pre-check, Clear, and Global Entry can help minimize wait times but will not diminish them entirely!

✈️ Have your important documents (id card, passport, reservation numbers, etc) easily accessible and together. Also keep extra paper or digital copies incase the originals get lost or stolen. You can put an AirTag with your document folder for peace of mind that you haven’t left them behind anywhere.

✈️ Try to only bring carry-on bags and personal items! Airlines are notorious for losing luggage during peak seasons such as spring break. But make sure you’re checking your airlines baggage allowance rules as certain airlines put weight and height restrictions on carry on bags and personal items!
