2024 update ✨️
May 2023, 10 years later, is now the BEST trip ever! My 3 girls and husband (1st timer) at Disney was magical. Seeing my husband Jeff Wilhelm letting go and having fun was great. My girls were 6 months, 5 years, and 13 so we witnessed why Disney is so special at any age. ❤️

Splash Mountain is gone but I'm excited for Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Pirates of the Caribbean is my one true love and cheeseburger eggrolls are the must have!

“My all-time favorite vacation memory was at Disney World, 2013. We went on our first Disney World trip as a family. My daughter was almost 3 at the time loved Merida. The first day at Magic Kingdom we went to meet Merida. The way she interacted with Merida and the look on her face made my entire trip worth it!
We love going in the fall to Trick-or-Treating at Magic Kingdom during Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party!
I always recommend getting a Dole Whip and putting Splash Mountain, Expedition Everest, Soarin, and Tower of Terror on your MUST DO list!

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party is returning to Magic Kingdom

The dates for 2024 are:

August 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30
September 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 26, 27, 29
October 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31

This year, we have heard of 5 changes coming to the party:

1. New costumes for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse
2. More Villain sightings
3. DescenDANCE Party
4. Meet Bruno Madrigal
5. “Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade” will start at 8:15pm

Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green on May 8. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale May 15.

Art of Animation...
Had you asked me about this resort a few years ago I would have said PASS!! Now...I love AOA. Now that we're a family of 5 this resort is really one of the best options for us. Being steps away from the Big Blue Pool and Dining Hall is a bonus.
The best part of Art of Animation....the SKYLINER! Having multiple options for transportation is a GAME CHANGER.
Give Art of Animation a try, don't let the bright colors and GIANT characters scare you away!😂😂
