It has been a prominent landmark along the historic Siskiyou Trail — the track of an ancient trade and travel route of Native American footpaths between California's Central Valley and the Pacific Northwest. Today's version of the Siskiyou Trail is Interstate 5, which provides easy access to the City of Mt. Shasta, located midway between San Francisco and Portland, Oregon. We also have a wonderful gift shop where you can purchase locally-made items.

Chamber Executive Director, Kaila Burns, said "Every year I think the show was the best it has ever been and couldn't get any better but this year the fireworks and music were above and beyond amazing!"

The Mt. Shasta 4th of July Street Fair & Festival starts tomorrow! Come on down for live music, food and drinks starting at 5:00pm.

Business of the Year (Pepsi Mt. Shasta Bottling & Distributing), Citizen of the Year (Kale Riccomini) and Non-Profit of the Year (Mountain Top Athletics) will be presented at 5:30pm.

If you haven't experienced a 4th of July in Mt. Shasta, you're missing out! Mt. Shasta can boast having one of the largest 4th of July celebrations in Northern California, with a four-day street fair and festival.

On Thursday, enjoy the walk/run, parade, food and street vendors. Then, find some shoreline around Lake Siskiyou for the spectacular fireworks show over the lake at dusk.
