“Charley, a new retiree-greeter at Wal-Mart, just couldn't seem to get to work on time. Every day he was 5, 10, 15 minutes late. But he was a good worker, really tidy, clean-shaven, sharp-minded and a real credit to the company and obviously demonstrating their "Older Person Friendly" policies.

One day the boss called him into the office for a talk. "Charley, I have to tell you, I like your work ethic, you do a bang-up job when you finally get here; but your being
late so often is quite bothersome."

"Yes, I know boss, and I am working on it."

"Well good, you are a team player. That's what I like to hear".

"Yes sir, I understand your concern and I will try harder".

Seeming puzzled, the manager went on to comment, "I know you're retired from the Armed Forces. What did they say to you there if you showed up in the morning late so often?"

The old man looked down at the floor, then smiled. He chuckled quietly, then said with a grin, "They usually saluted and said,
Good morning, Admiral, can I get your coffee, sir"?

Hmmm, this looks vaguely like the Bunny Flat restroom, peaking out through the snow. Wow! What an immense collection of snow that is. No wonder the snow plow broke again! What an awesome feat that would be to clear what is usually called the parking lot! 😂 I just heard that there's now 200" of snow at the Old Ski Bowl area. I wonder how high the snow measures here? 😍

We incorporate love into all that we do for them as well as till the soil, plant the seeds and care for them through their entire growth cycle.

Even as we harvest the many fruits, flowers, herbs and vegetables, we're filled with love and thanks. We love to visit our gardens because they're a source of joy for us.

We respect each plant as a living, breathing being and they, in turn, acknowledge our presence and uplift all who enter.

Are gardens are very special to us and we treat them with as much love as we give to our children.

Love flows everywhere here in Telos.

We know world peace is possible, but only when love awakens in the hearts and minds of all mankind, so we're constantly working towards that end, too.

Peace is embedded in the hearts and minds of all sentient beings, so they need to clear away whatever prevents them from accessing that peace.

Great progress has been made towards accomplishing that feat.

My home driveway the morning of February 21st. “I know my car is somewhere under there. All I can see is part of the windshield wiper! We haven’t seen this much snow overnight – around 3 feet – since I don’t remember when.

Found my car!

Then there’s my back yard.

Finally made it to my office and shoveled out a narrow walkway there. Whew! What a day to remember!

At the end of a Sacred Site Tour on February 19th at Upper Sand Flat. The beauty of the clouds above seemed to be a reflection of the wonderful energy the three of us experienced that gorgeous sunny day. The beauty of the natural world never ceases to amaze me.

This selfie was taken at the end of our Sacred Site Tour with these two happy guests on February 18th at Upper Sand Flat. That was just before “Snowzilla” came to town and made it necessary to close the lower gate near Mc Bride Springs (at about 4,700 feet) to be closed on February 21st.

Thanks Nick Meyers, Climbing Ranger, for the updated snow conditions and avalanche warning on Mount Shasta. Three to four feet of low density snow overnight it a lot! We got over two feet of snow last night at my home and office in Mt. Shasta, which is near the 3500 foot elevation. This storm was HUGE, and there are a few more inches on the way. Play safe out there folks! 😄
