For anyone wondering how our town deals with snow , here are some pictures . They push it to the middle of the street in the " downtown " area and later use front loaders and dump trucks to haul it away . Other than not being able to see cars coming , it works quite well .

Another freeloader ! I'm not sure what kind of a varmint it is but possibly a marten . It's young and curious . If he does that when the hawk is around he'll get airlifted outta here ! In the first picture , he is in the lower left. That is the door to the chicken coop and I suspect he's an egg-sucker .
