Laissez les bons temps rouler! Enjoy a night of music featuring Dave Brewer and the Foscoe Four, Cajun Eats, and plenty of dancing! Silent auction, costume contest, and of course, KING CAKE! The Shady Valley Festival of Quilts is excited to announce its second annual event, for April 11 & 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM daily. This festival celebrates the art and tradition of quilting and invites enthusiastic quilters to submit their creations for a chance to win prize money and ribbons. Entry deadline is March 1, 2025.

This year’s festival proudly presents “Fancy and Frugal: Quilts of the Great Depression,” featuring the esteemed Vickie Coleman of Bluegrass Quilt Appraisals. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to explore the rich history and artistry of quilts created during this significant era.
