Moonshiners Bootleggers and Copperhead Road presented by Greg Reece and Patrica Lowe Reece will tell the story of moonshining in Johnson County. Sunday March 17 at 2 pm in the lower level of the Johnson County Welcome Center. You dont want to miss this one!!

Congratulations to the 2023 Festival of Trees Winners! This year, the Johnson County Historical Society hosted the event and received more than 1,000 votes for the beautiful Christmas trees that the public could view for free at the Welcome Center. A special thanks to all of the organizations who participated and those who came out to cast their votes!

Winners in the Festival of Trees were:
1st Place: The Litter Chicks - $100 Prize
2nd Place: Stateline Baptist Church - $75 Prize
3rd Place: 4-H Group - $50 Prize
4th Place: Calvary Baptist Awana Group - $25 Prize

It’s hard to believe this year is coming to an end….and we’re heading into 2022…..We’re excited to announce we will be hosting our second annual Valentine’s Day Dinner….reservations are starting now! Dinners will be on Saturday, February 12 and Sunday, February 13 starting at 5:00 pm with the last reservation each evening at 9….it’s super easy make your reservations today by leaving a comment on which day and time you’d like….and Go!
