Fishing the Four Seasons of Lake Keowee. This class is sponsored by the Keowee Anglers Club and conducted by Charles Townson, bass guide and owner of Keowee Fishing Service, LLC. The class is designed to introduce newcomers to seasonal techniques and patterns to catch fish on Lake Keowee. This year's class will be held on Tuesday October 8th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Gazebo in South Cove County Park. There is no cost to attend the class but the park does charge a fee for parking unless you have a pass (available at the Park office).

Another option in Mountain Rest for lunch or dinner. Located across from the Dollar General. There is also produce, jams, and boiled peanuts by other vendors. Great food and I recently bought some goodies where they sell the jam. Can’t wait to try it!

At Stumphouse Mountain Bike Park, explore 10 miles of flow trails designed for beginner mountain biking with big berms, rollers, tables, rock gardens and more! Mountain Bike Park can be accessed from trailheads at both ends of Stumphouse Passage, but the easiest access is via the parking lot for Issaqueena Falls. Bike trail is closed on rainy days.
