Sometimes you just want other people to get you? To see what you see? We feel like we have one of the top coffee drinking spots in America. It feels great to know that other people agree. 3 hours from Memphis, 2 hours from Little Rock, 3 hours from Northwest Arkansas, 15 minutes from Mtn. New sofa, local pottery, and that beautiful view! Sadly I am more gifted at setting the table than filling it with delicious food. We have a long standing tradition of big pancake breakfasts when we are at Avondale House. What are your favorite meals when you are here? I would love some ideas for our menu!

I might be a little biased, but this place keeps amazing me! Props to my wife, Leslie, "The one with great taste." She said, build it (spend some money) and they will come! I couldn't be prouder of this seclude spot! We are full until mid-July, but there will be coffee drinking time after that. Check out www.vrbo.com/1580633 for more information!! We’ve been all over the world and seen some amazing places, but sometimes we overlook what’s in our backyard. Not sure there is any place that makes me feel any better than “The Avondale House” in Mtn. View, AR. We’ve watched the river go by for 15 years right here and we have worked hard to make it an unforgettable place for you! It is still up to us to find peace and joy, but man this place helps! Not sure there is a better place to meet up with some family than on the river! Message us if you are interested in a place for the weekend or during the week. We are full thru Thanksgiving. A big corporate event December 15 and 16, but other than that reach out and let's get you an awesome place to cook and fellowship!!

For most vacation places, winter is the downtime! For the Avondale House it is "The Time" to cook, fellowship, and watch the White river go by in Mtn. View, AR.
