Great news for all the rail fans out there. Red Line Vacations can now book your ride on the Brightline Train. If you're looking to head to South Florida and you don't want to drive, consider using the Brightline. The following cities have stops: Orlando (at Orlando International Airport, MCO), West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Aventura, and Miami. There are two classes of seats: Coach and Premium. When booking Premium, you get a departure lounge to relax in while awaiting your train. On the train, you have access to food and beverage. Eventually this service will run to/from Tampa and have a stop at Port Canaveral. Stay tuned for a Q/A session from a Red Line client who took the train to Miami for a cruise.

Have you heard the big news from Southwest Airlines? They are going away from their open seating policy and moving to assigned seating. They will also begin to offer red eye flights. Both of these changes will start in 2025. Do you prefer open seating or assigned seating on airlines? Will this make you think twice about flying Southwest?

Have you ever looked at a cruise website and saw a price that looked amazing? You are ready to pull out your credit card and book it in that instance. After a few clicks, you realize your price is WAY more than you thought. Are you tired of that? I am.

Great news. A law was passed in California to make the price you see on a cruise website the actual price you will pay. So far I know Royal Caribbean and Carnival plan to follow that law throughout their system. This will give you a little more peace of mind that you are not getting hit with hundreds of dollars in port expenses, taxes and fees while booking. Hey everyone!! Just a quick note about trip insurance and passports. Get the insurance and have a passport. You never expect something to happen before or during your trip. However, if you are hurt or sick and need to seek treatment on the ship, your trip insurance helps with that. These cruise lines will charge your onbaord expense account for their services. I used to never travel with trip insurance. The "it won't happen to me person." Luckily, it hasn't, but if it ever does, I have insurance 100% of the time.

Passports.....if you need to get home during an emergency from a foreign country and only have a birth certificate, you have a long process ahead of you. I have a passport card that I use for cruises. I bring my passport along but I never use it on a cruise. It's for an emergency and I need to get home.

If anyone is interested in purchasing a Next Cruise certificate with Royal Caribbean, I am currently on Allure of the Seas. It would be a reduced deposit of $100 per person (unless you book a suite) and you have 2 months to choose your ship and sail date. If you dont choose your ship and sail date within 2 months, you sinply lose the onboard credit promotion. The certificate is good for one year. Reach out with questions.

Good morning Red Line Family!! Next month at this time, I will be on the beautiful Allure of the Seas. If you are interested in purchasing a Next Cruise certificate while I am onboard, I will list the information below. I am limited to purchasing six of these reduced deposit certificates. All requests will be prepaid only.

Rules:
Pay a reduced deposit of $100 per person vs the standard $250 per person. A family of 4 can place a $400 deposit vs $1000.

Choose your ship and sail date within two months of purchase (by Aug 21, 2024)

Receive the onboard credit perk dependent on the stateroom category you book (interior, ocean view, balcony, suite). This is set by Royal Caribbean, not me.

You only have to pick your ship and sail date within two months of purchasing the certificate. You have one year from purchase to sail (June 2025).

Receive the Red Line Vacations signature service. I price your sailing daily to watch for price drops. Any concerns on your sailing, I call the cruise line and deal with them. All you have to do is report your issue to me. Everything else is taken care of so you can save your precious time. Eligible for other gifts and perks as well.

Discounts could be available for 55+, Military, First Responders.

If anyone is interested in a Royal Caribbean Utopia of the Seas sailing for Nov 1, 2024, here are the details. This is VERY cheap!!

Category 2D Oceanview Balcony including gratuities is $688 per person. This is a brand new ship sailing from Port Canaveral on a 3 night sailing going to Coco Cay and Nassau, Bahamas. This won't last long. If you're interested, let me know. If I can get 8 staterooms booked, I can do a group and it will have some other perks.

Deposit is $100 per person.
