Clear Reception with David Letterman
Join David Letterman, students and faculty on Monday, May 1 at 7 p.m. in Emens Auditorium for the premiere of “Clear Reception with David Letterman,” a documentary about the art of glass. The film is the result of a yearlong immersive learning experience in which students from the Department of Media, the Center for Emerging Media Design & Development, the School of Art, and the School of Music collaborated with Ball State’s most famous alumnus.

Small Town, Big Stories: By Ball State University's Center for Emerging Media Design and Development
EMDD students designed a digital interactive storytelling activity including questions, locations to visit, and local stories to inspire others to share stories in a fun and engaging way to enhance a sense of community among Wailuku residents. Second-year EMDD students are problem-solvers from day one. In August, this eight-person team of various skill sets, locations, and backgrounds came together to solve the following question: How might EMDD use storytelling to enhance a sense of community among the residents of Maui County, Hawai’i?
